Snowmaking Facts

Snowmaking is much more than blasting water into the air! There is alot of science involved to provide you a powdery surface to ride on.

Temperature, Humidity, Wind and Cloud Cover are key factors to making good quality snow

*MYTH* People often say that man-made snow creates a poor riding surface and doesn't feel the same. It is actually the exact opposite! Natural snow comes in all different sizes, weight and water density.. Man made snow is 100% consistent all the time allowing us to groom and pack it tighter. This allows for consistent speed and a firmer snowpack to last into the spring.
